Mike's passion for financial planning all began at his family's company, High Falls Advisors, founded in 1986 by his father-in-law, Jim McBride.  After working as a Financial Advisor and Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for High Falls Advisors, Mike decided that while he was in the right industry, it was time to start his own practice. He joined a small RIA and grew his passion and business.  While there, he started to formulate a vision for what his perfect firm could look like, and the idea for T.R.U.E Financial Guides was born. As the firm grew in size and scope Mike expanded his footprint and merged his company with Coastal Capital Management, LLC in Savannah, GA.  This merger brought many positive advantages, most of which was the addition of Sam Hubbard, MBA, CFA, CDFA.  Sam’s unique skill as a CFA grew the firm’s ability beyond Mikes skill set of financial planning deep into the world of investment analysis.  The two firms became one and T.R.U.E. Coastal Capital, LLC was born.

Since then, Mike has continued to work with the Kodak community as an expert with Kodak retirement planning for individuals, couples and families of all backgrounds and ages.  Mike serves as a "T.R.U.E Financial Guide" for individuals and businesses maintaining his background as an Accredited Wealth Management Advisorâ„ . Mike's personal practice is focused on investment management and financial planning. He provides personal and objective advice on retirement income planning, Social Security planning, estate planning, investment allocation, Medicare supplemental planning, and tax-related matters.

Every day, he finds new ways to better serve his clients. With a team that shares the same values and vision as he does, there is no doubt T.R.U.E Coastal Capital, LLC will continue to grow and make a real difference in the communities of Rochester, NY, Savannah, GA and beyond.

Mike is no stranger to working in the community.  He has served on the board for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, JDRF, Nominating Committee and St. Andrews Independent School Board of Trustee’s. He currently serves on the Investment Committee (IC) for the St. Andrew's School Endowment fund.
